Mine operator must be able to demonstrate that post closure, the mine site will not have any negative impact on activities taking place near to the closed mine site. For example, the impact on farming activities (if any) within the area of influence of the mine. The mine operator will need to provide on-going assurance for a period of time during the aftercare period that there is no impact on farming activities.
