Where there has been a history of conflict, the presence of munitions or munitions debris can trouble operations.  Identification of munitions debris and its migration patterns would be useful to ensure use of complimentary  clearance resources.

Nature of the challenge - What effect does this challenge have on operations?

Identification of  munitions debris  in a survey area will cause operations to cease until the  munitions debris  is cleared. This can cause unforeseen delays, costs and a health and safety risk to our staff.
