Underwriting refers to management of agricultural risk portfolio, working with clients to understand their specifics of production, preparing insurance contracts terms and conditions, managing internal processes on all stages of insurance policy, regular review of premium rates, and analyse dispute resolution cases. The know-how resulting from EO can assess or mark out e.g. specific regions, technology failures, monitoring of specific risk zones (e.g. flood-prone areas), as well as support underwriters in monitoring crop portfolio conditions and yield potential by the time of policy conclusion.
