Identify livestock movements

Summary:

• Earth observation data is currently not capable to detect the actual movement of livestock.

Limitations:

• This requirement could be only addressed indirectly with current EO capabilities, e.g. by providing information on pasture biomass.

Possible Fall-back solutions:

• Autonomous drone survey (long-, mid-range drones)
• Application of satellite-tracked GPS sensors
• Use of RFID or other ear-tags with virtual boundaries/fences (Though, this may not be suitable for free-range practices or mountains where cattle may be fattening for extended periods of time.).
