Exploration companies will need to get the permission of landowners before they can carry out exploration activities.  The company will need to get permission to work in the area where they will be carrying out their activities (drilling / trenching etc).  The company may also need to get access rights from other third parties to get to the land on which they will complete exploration works.  Therefore, it is important that the company has a knowledge of all landowners in the region of the area on which exploration is to take place.
